The new blued 336 comes with a traditional walnut stock.I wish they would have released a stainless version first in the 336, that laminate stock doesn't look very good to me.
Had a Remington model 6 slide action in 06. Got stolen from the house 40 years ago.Saw a lot of those growing up in Michigan. .270 and 06.
Most of the semiautomatics were single shots. Lots of reasons. The pumps ran gangbusters.Had a Remington model 6 slide action in 06. Got stolen from the house 40 years ago.
You're correct I was thinking of the latest model of the 1895 which has a very ugly laminate stock. The new blued 336 comes with a traditional walnut stock.
No major argument from me, but just to add a little context:Found this thread looking for info on .350 Legend as I'm getting ready to build one on an AR platform lower. Seeing all the "lever action" comments, the cartridges I'm seeing in .350 Legend have spitzer type projectiles, which are a big no-no in tube magazine lever actions. Maybe I'm not looking at the right ammo.
