Not a whole lot to go one.
I guessing they are coming out with a 350 Legend Lever-action.

If so how many would be interested?

Another question what would a 350 Legend have over the Ole 35 Remington?

I have been considering a 357lever, but can't get past the current prices. If this is available and not unobtainium like other lever offerings, affordable, and runs well I very much would consider one. This would be a blast suppressed!

That Ole .35 Remington is going to be hard to beat.
Kind of what I was thinking. I imagine the cost if ammunition would be a huge factor in the battle of the cartridges. IIRC the 35 Remington shot 200gr bullets at around 2000fps I don't think the 350 legend can match that.

I'm guessing they're advertising their new round / ammunition, not a new rifle model.
You probably got it. I seen the rifle and thought new lever-action. It's most likely a new cartridge.

Why the heck they didnt just bring back thr 7615 and do it in .350 Legend?

IMHO this new " offering " just shows Remington to be clueless in management and worthy of a quick demise.

Grice did a special run of 7600 in rifle and carbine, synth, in 35 rem. They fetch silly price. Actually an old 760 (old forend style ) in .35 rem aint a bad rig. Good enough IMHO to not dump the $ for a Grice special.

.350 Legend is a up and coming caliber. Mild recoil and very capable in the 200 yard and under Deer woods. It’s also available in the AR platform.

I know us ole guy‘s like .35 rem or 30-30 IMO .350 Legend will replace them.

    Not an AR fan.
Prefer conventional rifle stocks on a deer rig.

Don't really care for lever guns, the exception being a Savage 99.
    .30-30? No thanks.

Do think a .350 in an AR possibly a good dual purpose cartridge.....deer and bad guys.
Certainly ammo availaibility and cost are wins w that one.

While many a Fudd may be enamored w the .35 Rem......IMHO that doesn't mean its a Fudd cartridge.
It works very well and isn't annoying in recoil or blast.

The .350 legend was developed using the .223 case, and designed for states (Indiana) that require straight wall rifles for hunting. The 35 Remington is a neat round, but a bottleneck, from what I can see, ballistics are very close for both, don't know if either is more gooder than the other.... I'll take a gun in each round please....The good old thuty-thuty is still hanging in there too. As to the OP's question, the .350 Legend can be used in the MSR platform, and might be related to the singer John Legend (ok I made that up)

Indiana has no straight wall case mandate for public land.
FWIW when the PCR case length spec was changed (made longer) to 1.8" the trimmed .35 rem got pretty popular.
What bottle neck rifles are legal on public land??

He already answered the .35 Rem can be made legal with a trim, 358 Hoosier is another.

Indiana does not have a straight wall mandate. Indiana has dimension requirements that have to be met, If you have or design/build a bottleneck cartridge to meet those requirements you can use it, can't do that in a straight wall state.
