The rule is smart but sucks because you’re also judged more on the content you post when new. So even though others can post one liners and get away with it. A new account who is legitimately trying to get their post count up can not. So maybe be nicer to new peoples one liner posts if others are doing the same!

As said, those one liners tell us nothing about you new guys. One liners by folks <50 are deleted by mods. There is no "being nice" about it. Sorry, that is just how the site owner wants it done. Its nothing personal.

So instead of saying something like "I like my backpacking tent. Its the [insert make/model]" which wouldnt pass muster, This would:
I like my backpacking tent. Its the [insert make/model]

Its really lightweight, so its awesome to throw in my backpack. And since its a trekking pole tent, I dont have tent poles to weight me down. I can use my trekking poles to hold it up, or if I dont use those, I can cut saplings near my campsite to use as stakes.
And the design is really cool in that it has a roomy vestibule to cover my gear so it doesnt get wet.

You can always go the site supporter way to try and get the shiny you're after, but if you do go that route, don't be surprised if members still won't deal with you.

And don't be surprised if once to your 50 posts to gain access, members still won't deal with you. Especially if the content you post is nothing but BS to try and bump the post count

This isn't armslist or gunbroker. Here you have a chance to become a part of a community, but only if you choose to be a part of that community

Hi, how ya doin? I'm KellyinAvon, staff member, moderator, 2A advocate, all around nice guy.

If you take a breath and see how things work around here, you'll see why we do the things we do.

One-liners? You had a few, that's in past tense. The classifieds have most of the rules on the site for a number of reasons including this is a discussion forum with a classifieds section, not Armslist or Gunbroker with a discussion section.

Most members here like the vetting process of getting to know the individuals they deal with. Also unlike most places on the Internet, many of us know each other in the realz.

As far as "So maybe be nicer to new peoples one liner posts if others are doing the same!"... are the people posting one-liners well north of 50 posts or site supporters? Maybe just very good at not drawing attention from the staff? There ya go.

As I've said many times here at INGO, come for the classifieds, stay for the discussion.
