Thats not a posted rule and after the vailed threat of "starting **** with a mod" private was no longer an option

I knew who you were referring to just by description of what he said. I argued with them over saying someone was "acting" like a jackass. Wih most "infractions" or whatever you call it here, there is NO discussion. Yea, i thought for sure after i was getting a week off or something but didn't and wonder if it was thought over i did nothing wrong.

Your lack of knowledge of firearms is showing. Ms paint to cover up a brace thats no longer there. Plus a brace doesn't make an SBR until may 31st deadline.

If it's not there, then take a new picture. How hard is that? And after looking at that photo, let's put quotation marks around the word brace. I don't know what you covered up with MS Paint, but unless it's a porcupine, that sure looks like a stock to shoulder that pistol. I don't like the rules as much as the next guy, but sure looks like an SBR.



Curious, how'd you think this thread would go over with the INGO community? I had a week time out - you take your licks and move on.

Believe we sent a mass message to all members. The rule is not something permanent, hence not in the rules. We're hoping this BS gets overuled as much as anyone else and we can resume normal buying/selling/trading

When we see a braced pistol for sale we've all been following same procedure. Delete ad. Inform OP as to why. Let him/her know they can remove brace and sell without it. We are not lawyers and have no clue on the legality of selling during the so called "grace period" May be perfectly legal but we're erring on the side of caution for both the site and the members

Thats good but yet bad to send emails. I never got anything about it. I just assumed sellers were being cautious in their posts. Probably should have posted about it in big RED letters.

Sucks that y'all are getting put into this spot by the ATF. And a little bit of patience given by members can help.
I mean how hard is it to remove the brace and take another photo?

From my understanding Im not braking any rules by posting this but this is the reaction I get from a Mod when asking for clarification on an action they took and if the correction I made is valid. Its very clear they have no patience. I expect to be treated with respect when asking questions about new rules. Please note I asked three times about the ad and it was flatly ignored. Then met with "I think we're done here" as if this isn't a two way communication. Im not talking to my first sgt again im talking to a site moderator.

I understand this may ruffle some feathers and get me banned but I feel we are just as important in making this community what it is as the mods are. How can I just drop this and still say Im against authoritarianism? I guess I expect a mod to control their temper and conduct themselves appropriately. Considering they have authority id say a veiled threat is highly inappropriate.

I would have just assumed you're a ******* atf ****sucker out to kill my wife, child, and dog and told you to go **** yourself straight to ****.

1. I'm not getting why OP is so butthurt. He got far more time from the mod(s) than his ******* PMs merited.

2. IANAL, but pretty sure the ATF declared all such configurations UNREGISTERED SBRs as of the day of publish of the rule. The "grace period" is to either get the SBR stamp or un-SBR the pistol/now-SBR rifle. In other words, the OP is flat-out wrong on the regulation (posing as "law") that ATF **** out it's ***.

3. So, no you can't sell it as is as an AR-pistol, ATF decreed those SBRs... and you cannot sell it as an SBR until you register it as such, then do an NFA transfer.

But I suspect you knew that and wanted to be cute... with MS Paint and all.
