I have an older Savage Axis and was pondering a Boyd’s stock (since it is really the only company that makes one). Never had the opportunity to handle one. Are they as nice as they look?
I really like it. The base is just a Thompson Center compass. Getting out of the factory stock to the Boyd's gave me just under a .5" reduction in group size. Ergonomics are great, at least for me.

Have a boyds stock on the daughters (pink) built 10/22 as well. Not the At-one but the kid loves it as well.

    I like their offerings

I know it's early but I'm sensing the title for the next NWI thread:

NWI - Cat farts, poop on someone else's dime, early is on time, bad drivers stay home
Kid you not - a "woman" worked at my office once and told me "boss makes a dollar i make a dime, that's why i poop on his time."
Same "woman" would have her coat on staring the clock 15 minutes before quitting time... she didn't last long.

I worked with a secretary at Ivy Tech who, all through the fall and winter, called 4:40 "boot time". She'd say "It's boot time" at 4:40 and put on one boot. Then at 4:45 she would put on the other boot. 4:50 her hat went on. 4:55 her coat. Then she would take 5 minutes creeping to the timeclock. So she effectively wasted 20 minutes of each cold weather workday playing her games. She might as well have left at 4:40.

I got to work 30 minutes early everyday… so only seemed fair to start my going home 30 minutes early…. Lol
