OK there are three different "Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area" bill, two by Chip Perfect and one by that damn ***** from Fort Wayne (NRA-PVF: D; KiA: F-). I'm against it because, well you know why.

These seem to read a lot alike. are these things a thing that now need legislation? I’m out of the loop, I guess.

After constitutional carry, those idiots downtown had better not start in with more “gun control” laws! What they do need to do is work on “criminal control” laws and pass laws to ensure the judiciary punishes criminals. The same goes for these libtard prosecutors. And leave us law abiding firearm owners alone. Period. Peace!

SB 77 Recreational use of throwing stars. Don't get excited, looks like crony capitalism to me. Authored by Liz Brown (NRA-PVF: D; KiA: F-) so I may oppose this just because. Changes the language from "Chinese Throwing Stars" to "Throwing Stars" (great work there Liz, people had been exploiting the Vietnamese, Korean, and Filipino Throwing Star loophole for years. Don't think I need purple for the sarcasm with that statement.)

Recreational use of throwing stars. Allows a person who is at least 12 years of age to possess a throwing star for recreational purposes on certain business premises if particular requirements are met. Makes the violation of certain throwing star provisions a Class C misdemeanor

This is why its hard for me to take our law makers seriously.

    More student loan pandering:

Some good things from James Tomes:

I thought this was already the case?

Think Indiana is ready to join its neighbor states?

J.D. Ford wants to criminalize victims:

...and wants to engage in a different kind of pandering. (A better solution would be to eliminate property taxes for homesteads/primary residences.)

This one is interesting. HOAs (and seed patent owners) will not be pleased:

What problem/issue is this one attempting to resolve?

1064 criminal grooming becomes a felony. Other than the public defenders we’ll have to see who opposes.

SB 42 Reporting of Lost or Stolen Firearms. Class C infraction for not doing this in 30 days

I've seen two intentions associated with this. First that it will reduce illegal gun trafficking and secondly that it will help police investigate the crime. Is there something I'm missing because these seem a bit weak.

How does reporting the theft after the fact reduce the guns available for trafficking? I can't address the second point but it strikes me that it's the one-off thefts that aren't being reported. Is this really a benefit to recovery and apprehension?

I've got a few safe queens that are way in the back. One of those could disappear and I might not know it for years.

Because the idiots that come up with these hair-brained ideas probably assume most people only have one gun and that they’d know if were missing the moment they got home.
