Jeep GranCherokee (plenty of Labradoodle room in the back or I would have something smaller) For many years a 19, a G45 for the last 18 months but very recently transitioned to a DaggerX/Gen 3.5 Glock. Vehicle has a specific purpose and the firearm is what I'm accurate with a comfortable carrying.
A lot of very telling information here :shady:

The .45acp was more than good enough for John Moses Browning and is more than good enough for me too.
For some reason as soon as I read that it started playing back in my head to the tune of "Give Me That Old Time Religion."

It was good enough for Moses Browning
It was good enough for Moses Browning
And it's good enough for me

    Gimme that old 45 auto
    Gimme that old 45 auto
    Gimme that old 45 auto
    It's good enough for me

The what you drive and what you carry comparisons are intriguing but for me I think much about what I carry depends on where I’m going and my level of comfort there. Typically carry a revolver or pocket pistol especially around home. If I have to enter the threshold of hell (Johnson, marion, hamilton county, etc) I will typically carry a cz75 or my new flavor of the month dagger 19x clone. I’m a big believer in carrying what you’re comfortable shootinf and carrying. Making sure you always carry is the most important step of the process.

I’m not one to go all tactical and carry extra mags and what not. I know the world is crazy and getting crazier so maybe I should think more about it but I’ve always believed it’s a defensive and not an offensive weapon. If I feel need to carry extra mags etc I feel that’s probably a location I shouldn’t have been in.

there's a whole 'nother thread on why people carry spare mags and the majority are because of possible failure.

At least one extra is what I go for.
If it's a thin magazine like the 1911 or shield 45acp I carry two. Put them on your belt or even backpack straps.
I use these and find them very comfortable.

I always heard that if you drive a big P/U, Car, carry a biggin' gun and such, that you were making up for something else being small?

    Hey, dat's what I heard....just sayin'

So you like ugly things that everyone else has too. Got it. Lol

Kia Rio sx manual(1 if 400 imported to the US) and 1911’s in gods caliber. Not a boomer. Technically gen x’er(?). Like my cars to be small, light and nimble. Like my edc to be large slow, pretty and accurate
LOL. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? :rockwoot:
