I have been saying this all along, joe and hunter have and or had financial dealings in the Ukraine, also ukraine is known for money laundering and i think we all know who they do it for, our military is becoming very concerned with the large drawdown of of our weapons and to replace them it will be our tax dollars as the ukraine is ready to go belly up, our economy here sucks, but our politicians keep wanting to help others but do nothing here?? We need to shut the spigot off immediately, and permanently and fight our border war here!!!!!!!!

"The Chinese Foreign Ministry said further in a press briefing earlier this week that while the US could be pursuing peace and formal talks between Russian and Ukraine, it is busy playing "world police" while fueling the conflict - and all the while trying to confront China - according to the words of foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian."

His scathing criticism perhaps marks the first time Beijing has officially and so bluntly charged that the US "started" or "created" the Ukraine war, while also repeating the frequent line of the US stoking a "new Cold War".

The FM spokesman said: "As the one who started the Ukraine crisis and the biggest factor fueling it, the US needs to deeply reflect on its erroneous actions of exerting extreme pressure and fanning the flame on the Ukraine issue and stop playing up bloc confrontation and creating a new Cold War by taking advantage of the situation," according to an official transcript.

Peace and negotiation are simply not allowed. From what I have read his childhood friend(former head of SBU,now charged with treason) tried to get him to accept things as they where before the invasion IE giving up Crimea.

I am sure the USA has nothing to do with it.
When are we giving Texas and California back, Neville?

This is the STUPIDEST IDEA EVER! Well, maybe not. Maybe THE STUPIDEST thing is not realizing that the A10 is one of the most versatile combat aircraft that we have, and building more upgraded variants.
The Air Force has been trying to kill that airframe off for at least 20 years so they can spend more money elsewhere on unproven in battle new airframes unlikely to do a better job at that mission or even as good a job

Someone needs to point out how useful the Sturmovik was as a tank buster, even though considered backward and technologically unsophisticated compared to other air elements on that battlefield and then reference the A-10's stellar record on actual modern day battlefields

Always with the new and shiny

How many troops would attest to this?!?

And the Sturmovik wasn't the only 'outdated, slow moving' aircraft that found a new calling.

    Junkers JU-87G; with twin 3.7cm high-velocity cannons.

Goes back to pre-Desert Shield/Storm days in the late 80s. The way the Hawg performed against Saddam's armor let it stayed around.

Fast mover drivers (the zipper-suited Sun Gods in the small pointy planes) always hated it. Then Air Combat Command Commander (later USAF Chief of Staff) General John Jumper stated "CAS (close air support) is dead" after a Navy F-18 dropped a 500 pound dumb bomb on the JTACs who were lasing the target (not themselves.)

Jumper was an F-16/F-15 guy, last I heard he was the head slimy contractor with SAIC.

Had two A10’s fly over the house in June.

I live close to the mount comfort airport. We if you are flying an A10 close. We used to see them and the bi planes and stunt stuff in rotation over mom and dads when they still had the mt comfort air show.

Now if you could turn the A10 into a drone aircraft what a perfect weapon to give to some very skilled gamers in a bunker in a game chair with a joystick.

Uk rain and GOLD. The country seems to be selling a **** load of gold (paper gold) most likely 7 times the amount they hold. Thus the drop in metals prices of late.

The Air National Guard's 122nd Fighter Wing's base is adjacent to the Fort Wayne airport, a 30 second flight from here. Low-level flights over our house are an almost daily occurrence, and after living here for 10 years I still stop what I'm doing to watch every time.

There's talk again of "A near certainty" of replacing the A-10s based here with F-16s, a fine enough plane no doubt, but I'll miss the Hogs.
