This placed has went through many changes since its start. I came in around the times the old staff was cleaning house and that other place (Land of the banned) started from those that were shown the exit gate from this playground. I miss a few of them. Most I would probably slam the hammer on myself. Lots of angst. Lots of it.
We have strived to make it a bit more peaceful these days.

The constant agitators are now gone. Most hammers are dropped on noobs that don't want to follow the rules or an occasional older member that flips out. Pretty peaceful for the most part.

In truth I miss many of the old guard that were run off by the staff in those days. In my early days as staff, I had regular dust ups over some of this.
But things change with time. We are actually having some good/civil conversation in the Row V Wade thread. That would never happen 2 years ago.

It really hurts to apply the banner as some were my friends in the real. Birds Away and Indy Dave come to mind. I miss them both. BA was a close personal friend that was wise in many ways in life. If there is any truth in our beliefs of an afterlife, I will be sitting with him soon enough.

I went to his home to help him with an HVAC issue. He was also a stellar guy. We had a misunderstanding on a trade deal once, but it was communications not personalities.
