Good old AOL chatrooms. You never knew who the hell you were actually talking to. It was adventurous to say the least. I remember you could go into a private chat, it was called the "loft" with a female and hope to god it wasn't another dude.

AOL ended up owning QLink and killed it. Tried to move Commodore users to AOL, I never went.
