Finally got my positive test result tonight! I’ve been feeling the usual seasonal flu symptoms but no cough for about a week, longer than usual, but tested negative twice last week. It’s annoying and I’m more tired but I’m still doing what i need to do. My wife tested positive last week and she still has cold/flu symptoms with a productive cough, but is functioning otherwise normally. My 14 y.o. was down for about a day with a headache and “sore legs,” tested positive and was up n at em a day or two later. The 12 y.o. is so far unaffected. I just noticed smell /taste loss yesterday although I do have sinus congestion. I was ripping cedar panels for a closet but couldn’t smell a thing. And my taste isn’t exactly gone, but just certain components are missing. Kind of like I’m listening to music but can only hear the guitar, but none of the other instruments. That’s how food is.
This sounds about like my experience, especially the taste part.

Everyone is going to catch a taste of Omicron at some point. We may as well let 'er rip.

Unpopular opinion but I think the false vaccine narratives are contributing to the spread of covid.

Specifically in the last two weeks a bug has been going around the office, everyone is who is vaxed came into work with the sniffles and made some kind of excuse, allergies, just an ear infection ect. When asked if they had c
Tested for covid the response was they were vaccinated so it couldn’t be covid. Management gave no pushback, didn’t send them for testing or send them home. They were allowed to work and continue to spread the disease.

Tonight had a good one. Exposed to COVID, had ten days of symptoms, had three positive home tests, is supposed to get a PCR test tomorrow to see if he has COVID

Another: exposed to COVID, has symptoms. Four days in. Wants a test for work.

Rapid tests suck for omicron. If i send a PCR, taking 2-3 days now. That would mean day 6-7 of symptoms. If positive, could have already returned to work if asymptomatic if they wore a mask. If negative, could return without mask.

Why would I test that person? Useless.

    Idiot management demanding useless tests.

    Our company does the same.

My thing is, even if it’s not Covid, if somebody is sick, stay the hell home... when they’re no longer sick, come to work. Simple.

So what, if I’m sick as hell and test negative you want me to come to work and get everyone else sick with whatever non Covid illness I have? Morons.

For me, I completely lost my sense of smell and taste but after a few days they came back and then my sense of smell slowly went away again. It is mostly back now but a little muted for certain things. The weirdest thing is that I used to love the smell of coffee grinds but they now smell like complete a** for some reason.

    Bam!!!!

I see no issue with letting people and their doctors decide what treatment is best for them.

If they want HCQ, who cares? Ivermectin? Who cares? Vaccine? Who cares? Let people and their doctors decide what’s best for them, without involving personal biases or political agendas.

That is the way I was about onions. I loved the smell and taste of onions, but after covid I could not stand the smell of them, and they tasted horrible. It took about a year before I enjoyed them again. I STILL don’t like the taste of popcorn as much as I used to.

So after the first round Doritos didn’t taste right. 19 months Doritos tasted off. My first bag of Doritos after round two they were perfect.

Also salt is stronger to us now.

Salt was stronger for me while I was sick. It is back to normal post sickness though.

It's hard to push for an EUA on an experimental vaccine(s) when therapeutics are readily available. Follow the money,

Rabbit poop and Goat Poop look like Coco Puffs.
I had a Cocker Spaniel who definitely treated bunny poop as Coco Puffs. He was worthless at keeping the cotton tailed bastidges from destroying my lawn. But I didn't blame him; I wouldn't chase out vending machines that dispensed bourbon and Snickers bars.

My guardian dog puppies eat the poop as it comes out of the goats, before it even hits the ground. Nice and fresh!
