Last time I got pulled over was earlier this year, I was pretty confident it was a real cop, knoxville police marked car, his lightbar was already lit up before I even got to him. Got a ticket for that one. Nice guy, very professional and polite, even when I screamed “DON’T TAZE ME BRO” as he approached the car.
Should've yelled. "LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS"

Wait, what? Everything I’ve seen on the news and read on INGO told me ACAB and even if I’m not being a dick, the cops are still gonna hassle me! You mean to tell me that’s not true? Damn, now I don’t know what to believe! It’s almost like I’ve been lied to about how **** REALLY goes down!

How many people that responded to you, do you think are LEO's?
I do not know how many are leo, buffs or in the field of law enforcement. If I did, I would not divulge who or how many, this is no one's business but their own. Maybe they are under the radar and want to stay there. If they want you to know, ask them and if they see fit, maybe they will tell you. I feel it is wrong to out info on anyone, especially law enforcement. They risk their lives doing their jobs, testifying and even reporting. After what we have seen in Minnesota, it should be a crime to divulge private info on jurors, officers of the court and police officers.

    First, what's a buff?

And I didn't ask you to name names, just how many you thought had replied to you since you said "I never realized so many leo's would attack any thought of increasing the accountability of the few to increase the trust-ability of the many." I took "so many" to mean more than a couple. Is that incorrect?

There are 3 that I know of that have commented in this thread, 2 that have replied to you, one of them simply posted a meme. And they are not under the radar. Heck one even stated he was in a reply to you, another one mentioned in a comment in this thread about being ticketed while in the academy.

Speaking of unmarked LEO vehicles, is there any chance we could get the whole Indy fleet stationed on all the 465 on ramps on the south side for a few weeks to administer some much needed curb stompings to the oblivious morons that float along the ramps at 30 mph and then float out into traffic going twice that speed? While you're at it could you administer a second curb stomping to those that feel the need to brake for a slight curve on the on ramp even though they are only doing 30?

Traffic enforcement is wrong, you’re on your own.

They usually don't mess with 465 unless there's grant money to use up and then all of a sudden it's a problem. I would think with Indy now surpassing Chicago in violence that traffic enforcement would be the last thing to worry about.

With the way traffic goes most days, I'm surprised more of the violence is not concentrated on 465.

True, i'm glad I don't have to mess with it, for the office days I have to go downtown I only have to be on 70 and for that I make sure I leave very early so I can leave the office early.

Did you find the one downtown street that isn't torn up? I'm still looking for it, along with Atlantis and the Lost City of Gold...

Ha, i'm lucky in that I work at the HITS building right off the MLK exit on 10th street so I don't have to travel very far. Senate is shut down right where I need to turn to get back on 70 so I have to go down to Illinois and do a U turn onto 11th but I can't complain too much. At least right now with most people still doing a blended work/home schedule parking is easy!

While those are annoying you would probably think I need at least 3 curb stompings. When I get behind an idiot like that I go even slower to create distance so I can then speed up and merge at a proper speed.

You're supposed to pass them on the shoulder of the ramp and get in front of them!
Ahhh. That's what I'm doing wrong. :ugh:

    You must have missed it

We've been told that those of us who are not LEO are just boot-lickers
Nah, I know that. But he specifically stated LEO and didn't include us boot-lickers in it. I'm still wondering what a "buff" is though.
