Just an idiots lack of understanding the 2nd Amendment and the framers reasons for citizens to own and bear arms. Arms isn't just firearms its powder, bullets, primers, brass, loaded ammunition etc.
Possibly body armor as well.

I’d like to see a video, where two thugs break into someone’s house, the homeowner shoot one with a muzzle loader, and the other thug kills the homeowners family, while he’s trying to reload. Similar tactics. And I think they’d be effective.

Boulder police officer was the last person killed in grocery massacre, authorities say

The Colorado police officer slain in Monday's massacre at a Boulder grocery was the final person shot in the rampage that left 10 people dead, police said Friday.

Officer Talley and the other officers first on the scene immediately engaged with the shooter. Talley paid with his life, but doubtless saved many, many other innocent civilians.

Again, unless there's something they're not telling us, all they have him on is taking a crap while armed. All of the charges were variants of committing a felony while armed. So far I haven't heard a word about the actual felony.
