What makes it like 2016 is the polling and the smug confidence of Democrats. What’s similar to 2000 is how close it is.

I had it on CBS at one point this morning and Major Garrett brought up how the Trump supporters would be pointing out how wrong the polls were and how wrong their talking heads had been (careful to say, not him, but the trump supporters). I thought the others were going to poop their pants. Their pollster assured him that a few days ago he had addressed this scenario on air.

If you have a realistic understanding of the other side you can make statements about what they would do in a given situation. And if you have a realist understanding, your predictions will turn out to be right more than wrong. Hearing bubble-dwelling TDSers declare the minds of Trump voters is hilarious. Like the MSM pretending that businesses are boarding up because Trump voters are a existential threat to their businesses. Probably it’s not the people who believe in property rights that are most likely to destroy property.

I saw that too. For a moment I though Major Garrett was having a Minor Meltdown.

The rest of the panel (including the guy standing at the electoral map) looked flabbergasted.

Lots of Subarus to check for boxes of ballots to count. 9 out of 10 Subarus in democrat controlled counties have boxes of ballots in the back during any given election count.

I don't understand how we manage to have so many people, so evenly divided between candidates. Anyway, my understanding is that the votes left to count in PA are mail-in, which are likely to lean democrat, therefore it is likely to flip blue...

I'm not sure they'll lean democrat enough to overcome an 11% difference though. At least I'm hoping they don't.

Not all Subarus are Democrats’. But, if you’re driving a Subaru or parked a Subaru in a democrat controlled area, during a time when ballots are being counted, yer probably a Democrat. And you probably have a box of ballots in the car.
