This is also Sig Days at nearby Indy Arms Company.

And since the Fairgrounds and Indy Arms aren't that far apart - may as well visit both places, no? :D

Take it. Make any sign you want. Put a fair price on it and you can sell it before you even enter the building. Don’t mess with the idiot low ballers.

^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Been there done that with a Remington 11-87 Premier in 20ga. at the 1500 a few years ago. Did not even make it to the door from the truck. Guy gave me what I wanted no hassle. Showed me his Indiana drivers license. Done deal.

usually $12/day plus $7 fairgrounds parking fee.

Wow! I remember the days of free parking and $8.00 to get in. Then once inside, cases upon cases of M1 Garands, M1 carbines and SKS rifles. Your choice of cosmolene covered beauties. As Archie Bunker sang...Those were the days.

I’ve read the show rules and it says nothing about private sales in the lot. I’ve got a bunch of .223/5.56 and about a dozen magazines I don’t have use for anymore. Is it against the rules to advertise that in the lot and try to make a deal before heading in?

Put some prices on your stuff and it might be sold before you get there!
Just to maintain forum rules, better have 50 quality posts first!

I’m over here on “plinker” status with like a tenth of the required posts. Been a member for a few years but mostly lurking. I’ll stay inside the lines and not ruffle any feathers until I reach my 50.

You're a "Plinker" until 500 posts. Seven down, 43 to go until you hit 50 and can make posts like "Take my gun, please." Keep goin how you're goin and you'll be there before you know it.

Like I said somewhere in this thread I'll be at the NRA booth Friday and until 1500 (or 3pm if you prefer) on Saturday. Stop by and introduce yourself. One thing about INGO, you get to meet the people on the other side of the keyboard.

That's not AT ALL what I am asking, I do not seek to purchase anything illegally. I was wonder if individuals -NOT FFL dealers - were normally there selling their personally owned inventory . Maybe that's how I should have worded it but I don't appreciate your use of words like "conspiracy" and "scalliwags".
I am as "above board" as it gets, though I worded my question poorly.

In truth that is the way you came off. Read my response as well. Getting butt hurt over your post as posted is not all that cool. No worries just go back and read what you posted.

We are constantly monitored by any number of alphabet agencys. Just remember that when you post up. Be clear. Please.

I would not push it outside the show. If it happens so be it but some shows it is verboten.

Yes, poorly worded question. I DO NOT wish (or need to) purchase using anything other than the legal process. What I am looking for is deals on unfinished projects or used, privately owned items.
I have to go now, I think I hear the black helicopters.

I get it. But seriously, black helo's........if I were not absolutely sure of what I said, I would not say it. No tin foil hats here.
    Just be careful.

It’s the black helicopters in whisper mode you got a watch out for. They sneak up on you and their rotor wash blows off your tinfoil hat.
