Thanks for trying it. Hope it works for you. I have a spreadsheet inventory of my guns. I keep track of my ammo by, uh..........looking at the brass. If the brass has one of those pointy things, it's ammo. If there's a hole there, I put one of those pointy things in it.

More power to those that like it, it's good to have software people on our side too.
That being said, android, google, apps... how do you know? I know Office is pretty connected to but it's at least based offline till you put it on the cloud and lets you think it's only stored locally. Tin foil hat? check!
I do it in Excel but that's also because I'm the go-to excel guy at work so a guns, ammo, parts, upgrades, reloading tracker spreadsheet is small potatoes compared to my day job.
Excel spreadsheet works for me. Non-cloud based storage.

Want to share an Excel template?
For those of you concerned about he privacy part of storing your gun info on the web. Would it make you more comfortable or apt to use such a service if the data was encrypted at rest and required a log on to access your info?
INGO's very own Gaffer created something that may be of interest. Here's a link to the thread ... https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...n/466192-my-free-gun-ammunition-database.html
I have somewhere between 5,000-10,000 rounds through my FS handgun, prob 500-2000 through my newer AR, maybe 700-900 through my long rig. Prob a lot through my 22s.... hmmm and a bunch through my revolvers. I’ve found most data points that came from tracking round counts to be near worthless. You can tell when an extractor is worn. You can see 1/2 MOA groups open up, etc. If you can afford to put 10k rounds through an AR and can’t afford to replace the barre prematurely at 10k, something doesn’t add up. My $0.02
I'm a bit skeptical of putting a database of everthing in the safe out there for big brother and have access. Not sure I really need this.
