What's he doing there? Shouldn't the mess boys be on the boats cooking dinner? :dunno:

Probably not the best idea to throw out pictures during the time the military was still segregated to make this particular point. You'd hard pressed to say that WW2 vets were fighting to make Black Americans free. Suggestion, start at Korea, and work your way forward.
You are in error (again). The US Navy was completely integrated in the Civil War, to such an extent that black petty officers were giving orders to white sailors. The Navy was a skills-based organization - if you had the skills, you got the responsibility. It wasn't until later, when southern Democrats regained positions of power in gov, that it snapped back to segregation.

I don't drink coffee at all regularly, but I can enjoy a good cup. I was trying a free free-range-organic-fair-trade-whatever cup in a store a while back and it was quite good. My sounds of approval caught my daughter's interest, so, after she asked to try it, I let her have a sip. The resulting face and reaction were quite amazing and strongly indicated that she did not like it. I really should have had my phone recording the event.

I don't care if he is a war hero -- this RINO has no business undermining our president, a president from the same party. Thank God it is his last term in office.

Remind me what the definition of treason is again?

Are you guys off your collective rockers or something? Not even using McCain's comment's specifically, a politician should not be compelled to support a president simply because they share the same party, nor should it be considered undermining American interests, if the politician opposes a president's foreign policy, especially if that politician's position falls in line with many in the American public. The ideas that you are putting forward, that it should be unacceptable to challenge a president, that he owed loyalty by association, and is treasonous to the nation if not doing so, its the stuff of kings and dictators, not Americans... at least it used to not be that way.

Defintion of treason below... disregard the president in the pic. It was the first image I found, not meant to imply he has committed treason.
