Thanks. You still didn't answer my question. Why should anyone in Indy be ready to skedaddle?

Why would anyone even consider living in Indy? I have never understood that. Heck I hate even going there and there is no way I would live there. If that is where someone wants to live then good on ya.

:dunno: Born, raised, live, and work here. My wife is from Jersey City. Indy is the smallest city we would live in. We went out to Tuttle's Orchard in Hancock County a couple of years ago and I thought she was going to pass out. The country does not agree with her.

Reading here, a full on nationwide race war is guaranteed regardless of the outcome of the trial. Wishful thinking on their part?

This is a great illustration of the difference in perspectives that people can have. Tuttle's orchard is "Country-Lite" compared to the most rural parts of our state...

...and Indy (small for you) is the largest city many hoosiers ever see.

We have a really diverse state, when you stop to think about it.

I think Indy is a great place. In fact, I think more people ought to move there and move away from here.:D

If riots happen like man are threatening online I think there will be a couple things that will happen in several states like FL and IN with good gun laws that also probably have a decent size population of people who will be rioting.

Considering rioters will not be model citizens here is what I think will occur and benefit ( I don't want riots to happen)

1, The liberal candidate will have less votes in 2016 because its only in Chicago you can vote if you are dead as I am sure people will protect themselves.
2, crime rates in many places will go down and countless victims saved.
3, various public assistance programs will get a negligible relief as some future baby daddy's producing future broken homes with kids who grow up hating the world and become little trayvons will not be able to procreate since they will be "voting in Chicago" after hitting the wrong house. Think about the savings in section 8, welfare, wic, food stamps, Obama phones, and so forth.

Oh I know I married a city gal. She is still spooked with living in the sticks, especially at night when I am at work. It has been 28 years since she lived in any type of city or town and she is still a big chicken.

I think there will be riots in major cities. Probably not in Indy. However, riots aren't the biggest threat necessarily. We've already had dozens of muggings and beatings in Indy "for Trayvon" and probably thousands nationwide, in about every state. Imagine if street attacks like that quadrupled, and became more violent. This seems like the most logical outcome, regardless of how many riots there are. Unorganized, individual acts of violence, are cause for concern. I probably won't have much to worry about in Carmel though.

If things heat up, you could go "hunting"....

There are a couple of cops in New Orleans that thought that same thing.... didn;t work out too well for them.

Kut (finds your "seek out and destroy" perspective troubling)
