They did not listen when they rammed Obamacare down our throats.
They did not listen when they raised the debt ceiling.
They did not listen when they did not pass a budget.
What really makes you think they will listen now.
Now talking to thosewill not work. It's time to approach this from the local ground. I've not finished my write up on this since I'm going to celebrate the "end of the world on Firday first".
But 2 days ago I was on INGO blaming Obama for this mess since he did not focus on the safety of our children and instead was too busy with Obamacare and immigration issues.
Yesterday I changed my minds and said it was NOT obama's fault but the governor and legislators of CT since they did not focus on safety. The more i think about it however the more that is not right either.
The real people to blame are the parents. They (like me here in my local district) choose to give our children to the school and ensure their safety to the school. They (just like me) have been lazy in our responsibility to watch over our children.
So what is the solution? What were are seeing but it's not being reported in our parts of the USA. Parents need to bring the issue of safety and make the change at the local school level. What that change is will depend on each location.
1) Do nothing, continue as is
2) Put more LEOs in the schools (There was a big presence of LEOs at my daughter's school on Monday. Today there was only 1 car there, I bet you tomorrow it will be back to normal)
3) Put a program in place to arm the staff/teachers
4) Make the school not gun-free
5) others...
Just like the states are ignoring the FEDs on the weed issue, it is going to take the people at the local level to begin to ignore the state/feds on the issue of safety. government is there to serve the people. If the people wish to be governed by abc rules then so be it.
My goal is to begin a dialogue with the school system in my community and see what other parents what to do. But like I said I have yet to post my ideas on INGO as I'm really hoping for the end of the world on Friday.
Oh and I won't bet you $50 cause if I win I won't get to spend the money.
Plus I don't think I want USDs anymore. GOLD/SILVER only please.
