Learn to walk before you learn to run.

Those considering this route - can you walk really really really well? How about running? Can you run already?

If you've not yet mastered the fundamentals, adding a RDS to a carry pistol won't suddenly make you a runner. Just food for thought.

You mean if I buy all the tactical stuff that I can, it won't make me a better shooter?

Nevermind I guess, RDS's aren't worth anything to anyone! Move along, nothing to see here, especially if your eyes aren't as good as they used to be when you learned to walk really well?

I tried it. The concept has merit but I am not willing to put in the work required to maintain the advantage it can provide. For me, the law of diminishing returns comes in to play.

The only reason why I have not yet added the red dot is cost (milling the slide or buying a new slide, the Trijicon RMR, the tall night sights, and new holsters).

    It will happen eventually.
