Have to travel to DC next week for work. To save money, four of us are driving out in a company van. 12 hours one way. (10 hours driving and two hours stuck in beltway traffic). Because it is DC and a company van, no guns allowed. Not even pepper spray. I feel so defenseless.

Do you have a local karate or other martial arts club nearby? Maybe you could recruit some bodyguards! ;)

Trying to watch the baseball game and the dishwasher is going in the background. Whisper quiet should be silent as not to disturb me.

Dating as a single father now in his 30s. Apparently a man who has his stuff together and wants to be married again is asking too much. The current dating “game” is a nightmare of swiping disposability esp when you work 12 hr night shifts

non-standard work schedules can be hard on dating.

    Got a new work laptop.

My old one would over heat and lock up. And after every win update I'd have to spend an hour rebooting it to get it to boot properly.

My new one doesn't over heat, it's much nicer but, it has a hard time with my two 30" monitors and now I have to turn on my headset every time I use it whereas on my old laptop it would turn on when I picked it up off the cradle.

People who leave garage sale signs up for days and weeks, after the sale is over. Especially when the house is a mile or two off the main drag.

When did you order it? Hopefully before the insane materials increase.
It was a while ago (before lumber went sideways). It took forever for the installation date because they were booked out. I can't even imagine what that would cost nowadays. The platform is over 6' high.
