Women Only, “Refuse to be a Victim” and Victim Avoidance Class

Location: NPCCC Range, 933 N. Calumet Ave. Chesterton IN (one mile south of Indiana Toll Road on Old Calumet Ave.

You are receiving this invitation because you (or someone that cares about you) has expressed an interest in you taking personal responsibility for your own safety.
What the class includes:
2 Hours classroom training: information on Situational Awareness and dealing with potential threats with safety training experts from the Chesterton Police Department. Basic information on avoidance, as well as effective defensive measures. Steps women can take to protect themselves in a variety of situations. Knowing what clues and “tells” can assist you in avoiding a violent encounter before it happens.
2 hours range time: NRA Certified Instructors (1 Instructor/two student ratio) on proper handling, operations, firearm familiarity, accuracy and marksmanship, and most importantly, Safety, in the use of firearms of many types. Information will be provided on the differences of pistols and revolvers, and long guns and knowledge to make informed choices for personal self defense firearms. (Ownership of a gun is not necessary and all needed firearms will be available, but if you already own a firearm, they are welcome, (Cased and unloaded, until range time, MANDATORY).
You do NOT have to have any prior experience! (In fact, previous classes average about 30% that have NEVER fired a firearm.)
