Ruger 10/22...back in 1992 (right after college) then traded it for a Ruger GP100 4" a year later. This past summer, after years of wanting to get one back...I purchased one with a black synthetic stock and a brushed stainless steel barrel...with the excuse of being able to teach my boys (18 mo and 27 mo) how to shoot someday. I am so glad to have one of these back in the stable.

Savage 24D - 22 LR / 410 back in 1965 when I was 11. First gun that was my own and I thought it was the bomb because it was two guns in one. I had to wash the neighbors' catering trucks to buy ammo. I had a blast with that gun. Now it doesn't seem too practical.

An M16-A2, handed to me by a Drill Sergeant at the beginning of basic training.

First rifle I bought, if that's what we're going for, was a 1903-A3 I bought a little while after high school.

Marlin Model 60 in about 1995 or so from my dad. Still have it to this day.

Actually just stripped it down and cleaned it up since its getting warm and I'll be out shooting soon. I don't think it had even been fully taken apart and cleaned by the looks of it. Probably still needs an acetone bath or something to get really clean, but its about 50x better than it was.

Wow ! Testing my memory... It was a remington nylon, but a bolt action. Just don't remember the model, but want to say model 11 ? ? ? It had a six or seven shot mag.
