Where ever my GPS says I am
We are in the final stages of a deck rebuild that started in June. Getting treated deck boards was the big hurdle. Started out as just adding a 4x8 section for my grill and buying a store bought shade structure. Then adding an 4x16 section of deck. Then redoing the entire top deck boards and building a better built covered section. The final stages let it dry and stain it, put metal spindles on, and lattice on the bottom. I also need to pressure wash my grill and get it back on the deck. My wife's brother designed the deck and did most of the work. The covered portion is put together with threaded rod, lag screws, and probably over built.

    Hopefully these photos work

Finished the main bathroom, all new everything.

Kitchen cabinets are in, walls painted, new appliances. Just have to put in the flooring.

Only three more new windows to install.

We have been busy. Hoping to have the house ready to sell in 90 days or so.

How do you find reliable contractors for work?
    - I need a large concrete patio poured, colored, stamped to look like stone. And a stone fireplace built into the corner of it.

    - I need a large wood pergola built along the back of my house over the new patio.

    - I need a small 8 to 10' dock built

Hey TT, for the concrete work, check out jagee's post in the Asphault repair thread. He says he has a really good concrete guy.

I finally finished the inside of my home after 5 years of steady work on it. I still have to replace a deck, replace the screens in my screened in porch and landscape. But I am taking a break to heal financially, physically and otherwise.

So I am doing more usual maintenance: trimming the trees/shrubs I do have, cutting the grass, etc.

It feels good to not have the stress of making my home functional. It is fully functional inside and mostly outside.
