Sometimes, in many things in life, recent converts are the most zealous with their newfound epiphanies. Maybe this will be Tulsi. Judge by fruits not by mere words (or slick looking videos). She was challenged on twitter if her position has changed regarding firearms and the Constitution and she responded, "Yes it has" More to come soon"
One thing is for certain she cannot go back to her former liberal anti-gun position and be accepted by the left.
Should we use her alleged change of position to further our pro 2A stance? Is there room to be cautiously optimistic?
I guess we will have to see what her motivation was and what exactly her current stance is especially concerning UBC's, "assault" rifle and magazine capacity bans are when "more to come later" gets here and where she goes from there.Sometimes, in many things in life, recent converts are the most zealous with their newfound epiphanies. Yep.I guess we will have to see what her motivation was when "more to come later" gets here and where she goes from there. Like I said before she has ruined any credibility, she had with the anti 2A left now. Will she be dedicated to earning her trust with 2A proponents now? If she doesn't then she is on an island by herself. We shall see.
Depends on who she is running against in a primary. A more devoted and trustworthy 2A advocate should always win outShould we use her alleged change of position to further our pro 2A stance? Is there room to be cautiously optimistic?
They say your mind is the second thing to go!I may be thinking of someone else, but wasn't she ok with "sporting use" but not concealed carry at some point? Always treading some sort of fence riding position that made neither side happy? Fully admit I may be misremembering.

That is the question. Is she now motivated by political expediency because she didn't get anywhere with the Democrat party.Depends on who she is running against in a primary. A more devoted and trustworthy 2A advocate should always win out
I think she is trying to fit into the Republican spectrum as a covert RINO
You're correct, she's fine with firearms as long as she gets to pick which ones you can have.I may be thinking of someone else, but wasn't she ok with "sporting use" but not concealed carry at some point? Always treading some sort of fence riding position that made neither side happy? Fully admit I may be misremembering.
She was for "assault" weapon and magazine capacity bans and expanded UBC's. In the video she was using both an AR and higher cap mags.I may be thinking of someone else, but wasn't she ok with "sporting use" but not concealed carry at some point? That's kind of where I'm at. Waiting to see if she goes on record and is all in now with her support for the 2nd Amendment with no such nonsense as "assault" weapon and mag cap bans. It's all on how she publicly quantifies her position and if there are boundaries that she still advocates. I'm waiting to hear "More to come" after she said yes, her position has changed when it comes to firearms and the Constitution. It will be kind of hard to gain support in the pro gun movement unless we give former anti-gunners the chance to change course.
Don't know that one. But Trump was a Republican that sometimes voted democrat. He was also pro-choice...then changed, he said when he became pro-life it changed his life. I was a skeptic, but facts are he did more for pro-life and proved it. Every R president before him was a failure to being pro-life, Reagan being the biggest hypocrite and liar ever. I never thought Tulsi made a very good democrat, doubt she will change her pro-choice views though, but who knows.I seem to remember a recent President that used to be a Democrat, but was accepted by most Republicans... what was his name?
