We've noticed system tweaks in the pyramid thread a month or two ago. Points that took more than a year to accumulate were tripled in a matter of weeks. I guess that's how exponential curves work.

I think the whole system should just be turned off... Your post count is more important anyways

If I were behind it, I'd have done 1 of 2 things.
1) gotten rid of rep completely
2) moved all people back to 0 - removed the rep thread and any equivalent thread that may occur

But doing number 2 wouldn't stop people from doing what was done to begin with to get people as high as they were with rep value.

On the UserCP look to the right of the Latest Rep Received

If you go to your UserCP page and down to the rep, off to the right side on the top of the rep section it gives your total rep points. It will continue to go up.

When you go to UserCP there is a list of recent rep messages you have received. At the top right corner of that window there is the numerical value of the rep you have received that continues to grow even after you have maxed out of the 5 stars.
