    You've never seen The Rock with Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery?
    No. Unless someone presents to me a compelling argument otherwise, I assume that if a movie has Cage anywhere near the top of the credits, it's not worth my time. An exception was Peggy Sue Got Married, and he almost ruined that, as well.

    A lot of shows, you have to suspend your book knowledge to enjoy the show. Jack Ryan is one of those, like Rings of Power.

    Once you look past he is Jack Ryan in name only. The only similarities between Ryan and Greer in the show and the books are the names and the CIA.
    I'll take Jim Halpert's Ryan over Ben Affleck's, or, God help us, Alec Baldwin's.
