Well, it's sad and I pray for their families but if all we REALLY see out of it is a bunch of belly aching on the news, then it's a fair trade since she was at least a Dem. I'm not aware of her voting record or whether she was a dem in favor of repealing barry-care but it would be interesting to know. Maybe now they can get the Republican they voted for in her place. Maybe now the power grabbing control freaks that people hate will leave the public events to those the people DON'T hate.

Now, let the psycho-analyzing and flaming begin!

Your words. /\ If you think an act of violence is a "fair trade" for "belly aching" since "she was at least a Dem" , then I think your meaning is pretty clear; violent crime is fine with you as long as the victim is someone you don't agree with.

Why not kill off the RINO's too? Oh and other people that we disagree with too! Make it a party and get rid of different thinkers. :bacondance:
Had it been a RINO the only change to what I said would have been RINO instead of Dem. and I do not believe it's okay in any way, but at least it wasn't a player on OUR team. If the Jets quarterback gets a concussion tonight will you be happy that it was him instead of Peyton? Same correlation.

Her campaign headquarters were singled out during the ObamaCare debate and she had windows shot out/shattered. She was one of the supporters of that legislation and I wonder if this murder and that prior attack on her headquarters are somehow related to her support of legislation as unpopular as ObamaCare (which has roughly 60% of Americans calling for repeal).

Even 24% of the dems conservatively are calling for repeal.

    1. It's early.

    2. We do not know the motives of the alleged gunman.

    3. Remember, history tells us that political violence comes from the Left, not the Right.

    Wait and see.

theres not even a shred of good or "could have been worse" in this thing...

This will STRENGTHEN Dems and help the anti-gun movement.
No, but as I personally see it there could have been a lot BETTER in this thing. Like the rest of them run out of office along with her by whatever means required. The founding fathers writings are pretty clear about that.

The poor family (both hers and the family of those shot). I hope they go after the attacker with the full force of the law. That said I do think some kinda anti-gun legislation is going to come out of this, those who favor taking away even more of our rights would be a fool to pass up a chance like this. Its the reason I pray no-one ever pulls a gun on Obama...

My thoughts exactly. I'm really waiting to see the media reports of the gunman's motives and if he is tied to some group or another.

On the other hand, while I know that most political violence comes from the left leaners, she is one of 10 congresspeople who had their office windows shot/shattered/stoned during the ObamaCare debates as she was in favor of ObamaCare. So that violence was likely from the right and I'm curious if this violence is related?

She also a major friend of "immigration reform" and is from a border district so that could be motive.

She is also solidly anti-gun with a D- rating from GOA and a D+ rating from the NRA.
