seriously though, people who do stuff like this dont use revolvers. Reports were at least 15 shots. I'm 99.9% sure, the report will come out as a semi-auto.

There are a lot of comments in this thread that really shouldn't be posted at all, I'm not usually for deleting threads, but man, no matter what the meaning or intent, there is some stuff here that would look very bad for all of us if it were to be quoted on CNN or MSNBC.

• Requiring manufacturers to provide child-safety locks on guns.
• Requiring background checks of gun buyers at gun shows.

• Easing state restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns.
• Repealing state restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns.
• Requiring a license for gun possession.

or any other issues related to firearms.

Yes, this has potential to go very badly for gun rights. Ms. Giffords needs to have a sit-down with former Texas state Rep. Suzanna Gratia-Hupp, once she has recovered from her injuries.

Regardless of how this happened, in few other situations is it considered acceptable, let alone advisable to punish the innocent for the acts of the criminal.
