Watchdog: Feds wrongly granted citizenship to hundreds facing deportation | Fox News
More than 800 illegal immigrants from countries of concern who were set for deportation were mistakenly granted U.S. citizenship because the Department of Homeland Security didn’t have their fingerprints on file, according to an internal audit released Monday.

The Homeland Security Department’s inspector general found the immigrants used different names or birthdates to apply for citizenship with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration. In the case of 858 immigrants from "special interest countries or neighboring countries with high rates of immigration fraud," the discrepancies weren’t caught because their fingerprints were missing from government databases...

    Everywhere, so far.
    Color me shocked.

Any entity in the private sector would be terminated if it performed and behaved with anything approaching the degree of incompetence and disregard for its contract as does the federal government.

instead, we not only tolerate it but expand it.

That would ordinarily apply, but when it becomes a pattern so much to the point that it barely raises an eyebrow, then that principle inverts; and we're all long past that threshold.

Everything he can to destroy this country before he leaves office.

Well, he could order INS and ICS to stand down, but he hasn't done that. He could pardon (or commute the sentence) of EVERY convict, but he hasn't done that. He could order every ship in the Navy back to their home port, but he hasn't done that.

Just wondering: did "he" grant them citizenship on his own initiative, with no oversight or action by any other agency? Is that how it works?

Lol, that terrorist was such a good guy. He didn't shoot everyone in the mall like he could have. What a saint.

Translation: Well, the Community Organizer-in-Chief could have done more damage than he has already done, so this is no big deal.
