You''l like this Horn. Apparently, Berghal may have "Gone Galt". Seems he may have grown tired of working for the man.

"I will serve no bandit, nor lair, for i know John Galt, and understand . . ." Bergdahl wrote. "This life is too short to serve those who compromise value, and its ethics. i am done compromising."

Taliban POW Had Psych Issues Before Enlisting, May Have "Gone Galt"

Interesting interpretation. I doubt that anyone who actually read Atlas Shrugged could believe that this applies anywhere but within the confines of a severely disturbed mind. It is certainly not the response of Rand's character Galt.

It is blackletter law that once you join the conspiracy you are liable as the person who commits the offense.

Yes, very true, even if one is not aware that he joined the conspiracy (i.e., going to prison for participation in murder when the driver so implicated doesn't know anything but that his passenger wanted to stop to pay a short visit to a 'friend' while they were out).

It is blackletter law that once you join the conspiracy you are liable as the person who commits the offense.

Therefore... all cops are lumped with their criminal supervisors. All Republicans are lumped with the corrupt party elites. All soldiers are guilty of every foreign policy cluster**** and murder committed under the stars and stripes. They all joined "the conspiracy."

    Lazy, crazy logic.

This soldier definitely had a shaky history as stated from his fellow soldiers. He seemed to be very interested in the islamic lifestyle and culture. According to one soldier-he had asked his surperior what he could take with him if he walked away from base, so he did. He appeared to be well taken care of compared to other prisoners who have returned.

After having asked such a question, why was he not under guard and put on the next C130 flight out of Afghanistan?

Yea, just like Bengazzi, something smells here. I think it was an excuse for the president to release some of his "harmless" prisoners back to the "friendly now defeated" Taliban. He's got to try to follow up with at least one of his campaign promises to close that prison.

They also technically aren't terrorists. These aren't the guys who flew planes into the twin towers, they are a regional force only interested in our regional presence.

Oh, wait. To be "technically" terrorists, they had to actually fly the planes. Helping in any other way doesn't count. In fact. OSB wasn't a terrorist. Technically.
