Im there too but Still like to catch a game once in awhile.I've mostly given up tv. I'm apologize for being no help at all.
Is this on track of what your saying? It really will depend how far you need to pull in signals. Powered antennas at the tv work great within twenty miles or so. If farther you need something bigger…
I was spoiled when I lived 8 miles south of downtown Dallas, I had dozens of english TV stations and about that many Spanish stations, all with rabbit ears in the apartment.I used a 6' tv cable wire, cut off one end and split them 180⁰
Works well in indy area for a garage tv.
That looks like what is in my attic, It will not pull in Indy stations even when I had it clamped to my roof. I ended up pointing to to the one transmitter in Lafayette, and disconnected the rotor part to keep thing simple.
About 50 miles north of indy. Really dont want much more than a ballgame while working in the barn but I would like to do something good. A wall mounted outdoor device is what I am in the market for, IF it’s worth it.In Lafayette it takes a really good antenna to successfully enjoy Indy stations. When we had analog transmitters, a weak station was still watchable with a little snow in the picture. Digital is all or nothing, it just locks up from too many missing pieces of data.
I have a small powered antenna in the attic that gets the Lafayette station just fine.
Other than local news the Mrs watched pretty much everything on the internet. Of course that is now $62/month.
How far are you from a major city?
I have one of these on my house. It sucked.
Have something similar to this ^
What do you recommend? I am on their website and there are a few different types for different signals.Channel Master still makes good products.
Whatever you install add a LTE filter.
Nice! Thanks for the link. Ill check this out.You can use this site to get the direction and distance of all OTA towers around you and what type of antenna you’d likely need to pick those signals up

Until internet is out. And good luck with local TV stations for news, weather, etc.If you have WiFi just buy a smart TV and use the internet to watch TV
