There’s not gonna be a strike concerning this incident now or in the future unless the parameters change.

Trump backed himself into the corner by claiming a strike package that was put in motion would’ve been disproportionate so he gave the stand down order.

That takes any future strike off the table for this incident because he wouldn’t be able to justify another one against the same target package as being proportionate. If it wasn’t proportionate the first time then it wouldn’t be for a future attempt.

i guess he’ll just have to drop another sanction bomb on them.
