Threaded .22

I am in the market for a host for my suppressor. I am leaning towards a bolt action because it will see a good amount of subsonic loads, but I’m not opposed to a semi auto. On my list so far is the Ruger American, T/C R22, and the Winchester wildcat. I have a budget of $400. What would you guys recommend?

Savage FVSR is a good candidate.

^^ +1 for the fvsr. The factory stock is a let down but it is a great shooting gun especially for the money.

Own a Savage 64 TRR-SR. semi auto tack driver with a Boyd stock and heavy threaded barrel. One of my favorites.

Do what you can to stretch your budget a bit and find a CZ. Twice the rifle of any listed so far.

I'd save a bit more and get a CZ 457.

I would second this. RPR is great host with flexible options and is quickly becoming a great benchmark. Its a bit heavy so as long as you are doing benchrest shooting, its g2g.

Thanks guys. I found a Rossi RS22 that is threaded locally to fill the void till I can find a bolt gun that I like
