I am in the market for a host for my suppressor. I am leaning towards a bolt action because it will see a good amount of subsonic loads, but I’m not opposed to a semi auto. On my list so far is the Ruger American, T/C R22, and the Winchester wildcat. I have a budget of $400. What would you guys recommend?

Own a Savage 64 TRR-SR. semi auto tack driver with a Boyd stock and heavy threaded barrel. One of my favorites.

You can find Ruger precision rimfire’s used for around $400. Incredibly accurate and awesome suppressor hosts.
