    Howdy Lpherr. Sounds like quite a project ahead of you. $900 sounds cheap for what you have planned with lumber prices being what they are now!
    Hello Doggy.
    I was planning a grand for the initial deck plan, so it doesn't seem too bad as of now, and it includes the hardware (screws, carriage bolts, hangers, etc.). I estimate another $300-$400 for the railing, so a smidge over the guessed grand, and it will almost double the deck size. I expect landscaping to follow to replace what gets taken out.

    Got one of those huge rat traps and put it under the stove. That dude is huge.
    Will there be enough room for it to go off under the stove? I can't imagine having a rat in the house. Susan (DoggyMama) would be gone. She freaks out if a mouse gets in the house.
