And, let me put all this that's happened in this thread into perspective:

I'm watching the movie Restrepo on NatGeo. Amazing movie. One year in the life of the soldiers at Outpost Restrepo in Afghanistan... one of the most dangerous outposts in the country.

Gripping film.

A soldier was just killed in a firefight... watching and hearing his brother soldiers mourn and weep in the middle of a battle really moved me.

My problems are nothing, folks.

Until I watched the film, I had no idea that OP Restrepo was named after a fallen soldier.

50 US soldiers died in the Korengal Valley (where OP Restrepo was).

In April 2010, we abandoned the valley.

We should've dropped a DaisyCutter and been done with it.
