Well it looks like this will be in my shop by the weekend.
We sprayed it with w reduced bed liner material that this shop uses a lot and with great results.

Now all thats left is to get it here...:):

Made a big step on my project tonight. First fire up! I started building this car in August, car had no engine, transmission, fuel system, or cooling system. I built a stock bottom end 351w with 190cc trick flow heads, heathy cam, Super Vic intake, and Holley Terminator X efi. The car still has lots of work before it is road worthy but hearing it start and run for a minute was much needed motivation.

Nicely done sir. I like the way you set up the cooling/crank trigger etc.
    That manifold is seriously tall.

Thank you. I paid good money for that water pump but I figured it would be good for years and I could use on other motors. Hoping the 36-1 crank trigger doesn't give me many issues. Seems like most guys are going to 12 magnet wheels.

Manifold is tall but fits under my cowl hood.

Richard Holdener did a YouTube video with a very similar setup and made 460hp at the crank. I would hope I'm about 400. I have a bet with some buddies so I need to go 10.49 in the 1/4. Once I make some passed NA, I plan on spraying it to get there. Hopefully that will happen this year. Then the plan is a single turbo.

So today I pick up my buddy and we go to the paint/resto shop. We have decided the tail in the frame is in sad shape so we cut that 3' off of the frame and will make a new piece when the time comes.
Strapped it on the trailer and off loaded into my shop.

    Its getting real now.

Can’t believe your buddy is spending this much money and not going LS.....
Because he got a smoking deal on the old school. And most of the morons he will be around just stuffed a junk yard LS into their Whoopties with no real mods past headers (paying big money to have it done) and we are going to show them tail lights. :p

In truth I am the driving force in getting this all set up as it will be. He bought the car in 1999. Paid to have it restored and as par for the course he got hosed.
He parked it in 2005 shortly after I got it to actually run reliably. It was supposed to have a hopped up 350 in it and the engine was the original 283 with a RV cam in it and the original glide. Serious turd.

    We discussed an LS.
