Wow. Not what I was picturing.

What's up with the exhaust? Front exit tire warmer?

And does that have a vacuum of some sort to make it stick?

Interesting I've never heard of that.
Yeah a lot of the little mod cars at the solo II nationals used to have one or two leaf blowers attached to the floor pans and with the integrated skirting they were creating huge amounts of down force. So much so that they were exceeding the designed maximum speed of the courses so I believe SCCA outlawed them a couple of years later.

So it's shaped like a venturi to create a low pressure area?
The floor aero is to create a passive low pressure area to make down force. The hemholtz is supposed to be tuned to the engine at a certain distance etc to kill resonance. This was part of a free thrown away gm catback that we used to build the exhaust.

I was talking about the floor. I've actually seen the resonator setup like that a couple of times before.
    The floor aero is ingenious.

Aero induced downforce was huge in Indy/open wheel for a long time. It generates a significant amount of downforce. The cars had side skirts along the outer body to seal to the track. USAc/Cart outlawed it.
The IMSA car I crewed on had “Huge” tunnels under it the did the same thing. They would actually suck a man hole cover off the street (some races were on street courses) and launch it in the air.
