For a seat of the pants difference, there's no better place you can put your money.

It will change the entire dynamic of any car/truck.

I used to keep 3 props in my boat. A deep pitch speed prop for glass smooth water top end blasts..(think 2.92/3.08) A mid pitch cruising prop (think 3.55/3.73) and a straight up stump puller get out of the hole prop for pulling skiers (think 4.10's) it is a cross the board.

I'm probably splitting hairs. My 02 firebird has been sitting a year without be started, I've never let it sit this long usually just over the the winter. I'm going to change the oil but should I do it before I start it or go ahead and let it warm up.

I'd change the oil first and then I would disconnect the spark plugs and fuel injectors and turn the engine over for several seconds. Let the engine circulate oil without firing. Plug everything back in and let it eat.

Heck I just looked at my service records. I put Mobil 1 in it 14 months ago and only drove it 161 miles before I parked it for the winter. I know the oil is good but worried about any condensation that might have accumulated. It's been in an insulated but not climate controlled garage the whole time. Should I even worry about changing the oil?
