Woke up to a happy birthday greeting from my wife. Will be heading out to church and then lunch at the Boathouse on Winona lake. Decided long ago that I was going to retire when I reached 62. Finally hit that goal and will be submitting my paperwork to retire this summer.

Congratulations! Wish more people would plan to retire early, it can be a good life.

I'm a year and 1/2 into mine. Love it. I'm fortunate in that my wife is still working for about another year. So I'm on her health/dental insurance.

Every time I watch one of these I am in awe! They are the real life representation of what I saw in my mind's eye as a child reading golden age science fiction. Wow, just wow.

Wait until the next Heavy launch when they land the outboard boosters simultaneously. The first one of those I watched, I just kept replaying.

I cannot wait until the first all up Starship launch. (though to be honest I am a little suspicious the recovery mechanism is going to work)
