I've had to (fill in the blank) with my dad.

I saw my neighbor yelling at his kid for something, and I thought, he's got a pretty good kid. Maybe I should tell the dad he's got a good kid.
Then I thought, well maybe that's why he's a good kid.
AND, I remember my childhood. Most of which was trying to keep dad from yelling at me.
Learning the names of the tools.
    How to use those tools.
    Where to aim the flashlight.
A small "boo-boo" will not kill me.
    And such.
And then I grew up and earned a good living with tools.

So, it's none of my business to go over there, and maybe even if it was, this is the way it's worked for generations. And who am I to argue with success?

I'm a huge fan of how people raise their kids being absolutely none of my business.
