When I was a kid, my family would go on long, extended vacations out to the Dakotas, Wyoming and everything in between. As we would stop at the attractions and museums, I had a chance to see a recurring theme. Every time a story was told that involved advancement to the west and Indians, it was always the Indians that got the high hard one.
The Native American Indians can be considered a race of people that were conquered.
