My friends and family talk a lot about politics. The debt always comes up. OUR KIDS WILL BE IN DEBT FOREVER THEY YELL. No. Of the 30 trillion we owe China about 2. But the rest we actually "owe ourselves" . Here is the easiest way to understand this. Suppose someone or some country showed up with semi loads of cash. 30 trillion. And dumped it on the lawn in DC. What would they do with it? Now if you or i Owe 500,000 on our home, cars, education or whatever else and someone gave us 500,00.00 we would pay the bank back and be debt free. But the government doesnt do that. Where would the money go? Who do we owe? Answer is...we owe ourselves. The best thing to do would be burn the money. all it does when they print more for things like the so called stimulus , all it does is devalue the dollar. The democrats, liberals, socialists , communist want this. It could totally devalue the dollar. They want a one world monetary system. The USA is strong enough to take a hit. But eventually it will come to a total devaluation. Like southern africa. a loaf of bread is about 1 million US dollars. Their currency is worthless. Because there was way too much of it printed. I am sure you all know that scarcity makes the value of any item increase. same with the dollar. So in short we are not hurt right now by the printing of our dollar. But how long can this go on?

At this point in the lifespan of the fed Ponzi scheme what is it that we really need to be looking for? Thought about it?

After WW1 the US was brought onboard to assume the role that the British Empire had been playing. That was the plan that the Rhodes-Milner cabal convinced the crown to support. We were groomed to assume the burden and the fed Ponzi scheme financial system was installed to power the program. Col. House led the US delegation that made it official. We've been chugging along for the last century beating the world into the desired shape but our pink bunny is not beating the drum like it used to.

For decades now the process has been ongoing to groom red China to take the place of the US. There's a beginning and an end to all Ponzi schemes and the end of ours is here. So when the reserve currency of the world goes in the toilet then what's everybody around the world gonna do? Well, have a great reset of course.

So back to the question of at this point in the lifespan of the fed Ponzi scheme what is it that we really need to be looking for? Thought about it?

A source of value that can transition between reserve currencies while maintaining that value. Precious metals? Bitcoin? Real estate? Art? Guns and ammo would likely require too much volume to be practical, plus the CCP will outlaw those so you couldn’t sell them for the new currency anyway.

There's a new school of thought that this can go on infinitely and is healthy.

There was a Planet Money or Freaknomics episode on this, but I don't care to spend the time looking it up. I wasn't entirely sold on the concept.
    Modern Monetary Theory, I think.

Planet Money for sure, as I don't listen to Freakonomics.

I am sorry, but I cannot agree with your assessment. It is a nice delusional fantasy, but it doesn't correlate with the best test we have, which is history.

First, read "The Case for Gold", ISBN 0-932790-31-3. It is a tough read as you have to hack your way through lots of extraneous political arguments, but the historical portions on monetary policy are illuminating. Then spend some time reading about hyperinflation events throughout history. If hyperinflation doesn't terrify you, then you are fearless and not in a positive way...

Both parties like inflation, it serves those who underwrite them. It also damages the majority of the citizenry. The catch is inflation is only a good servant to those in power when it can be controlled. Hyperinflation events nearly always result in regime change, and usually in some pretty terrifyingly bad ways.

For those of you who are younger than I, I recommend you read about the economic period of the Jimmy Carter administration. I fear the communists (Democrat=Anarchist=Communist=Marxist=Socialist) our nation has elected will bring on a level of inflation, tax and spend policies, regulatory burden, and trampling of Rights which have not here to fore been seen in our nation. The Carter administration ushered in +20% interest rates. Let that sink in a minute, then consider any "floating interest rate" loans you may hold. Also consider some of those loans may have "call" provisions, could you meet them?

Do a little research on Valenzuela, and how quickly it descended into a communist he** hole whose citizens are starving and are being ran over by Chinese APVs with oversight by Russian "Technical Advisors". Take a look at Valenzuela's monetary and inflation rates after the Communists gained power. Will it take longer here, yes, but do you really see a different outcome?

I would postulate that the majority of our citizens born after 1990 are so owned by the communist propaganda they have been fed via our educational systems and social media platforms that there simply are not enough citizens left to restore a Constitutionally centered government.

I would dearly love to believe none of the foregoing has so much as a grain of truth or probability to it, but the events of January 5th, and the probable events of January 6th leave me with very little optimism. Unfortunately, the old saw that "you can vote your way to socialism, but you'll have to fight your way out of it" is historically true. It is also true that I know of know nation which was free and succumbed to socialism / communism, which has fought it way free again.

I fully expect a Communist led Executive and Legislative branch to rapidly enact their stated slate of laws to gut the Bill of Rights and further enslave Americans. Just as during the FDR Administration, if the Judicial branch dares to push back it will be explained how the current judiciary structure will be changed, and the judiciary will fall in line, lest they lose their positions of relative power. Should President Trump's Justices attempt to hold the line, I have little doubt the SCOTUS will be packed quite quickly.

When you start saying Democrats are both anarchist and communist, you've lost me.
Bye ,but seriously they both thrive in the current Democratic Party and while it would take some seriously impressive mental gymnastics to be both they both seem to do just fine in that cozy little nest.
