From SGE I liked shooting H45's duo of 97s. Shooting Copperhead was ever so slightly better. I also liked shooting Ben's Phantom.

Lots of fantastic CZs there this weekend.

Thank you, but you have many fantastic pieces yourself. I stand by my comment that you have the finest 97 in the group. Riley, TNT, etc. And Larue got some of my money thanks to the trigger in your noveske.

Yep...total hit as this 14" virgin plate was placed at 100 yds and repainted several times during the SGE can attest to. It now has lots of little pock marks and a the carriage bolt has a new shape.

It definitely got a workout.

We spent a lot of time Saturday talking about the 97s, the Phantoms and some other epic CZs. They have been around the family and us old guys sit around and try to remember where all they have been and where they started. Chris' 97 is one of the elites. There are a couple more in the group.

My 97 is one of my favorite CZ’s. It has been owned by some great friends.
