Yeah. I did that afterwards....
Next time just check a 9v battery with your tongue if you want a little zap.Yeah. I did that afterwards....
It's the whole risk/reward thing. The breaker is in the basement. I'm on the second floor. That's 8 unnecessary flights if I can just not touch the wrong place on the switch I'm replacing.Next time just check a 9v battery with your tongue if you want a little zap.
I understand. I've done a fair amount of electrical in both of our houses (first house and current). My biggest gripe is the **** poor handwriting by the electricians when they label the breakers. It's usually something like a 5th grader mixed with a doctor prescription in cursive with a dull pencil. I've pretty much went through and sorted out/relabeled both houses' breaker boxes, so they were legible and easy to understand for regular Joes like me. I shouldn't have to play a game of National Treasure to figure out what each breaker is for. It's the whole risk/reward thing. The breaker is in the basement. I'm on the second floor. I guess I needed the exercise anyway.
I got lucky. The previous owner, who built the house in 1968 had a few of these taped different places. On in the broom closet and one on the breaker box. And it's correct.I understand. No guts...no glory.Yeah. I did that afterwards....
... a Dan Wesson Kodiak in 10mm? Curious as to your thoughts….

I was gonna recommend the buddy system. Where the buddy does all the work. You guys are overthinking this. Just turn the old and new light switches off before you swap them and you're golden...
...(like toast).
Yes Sir I’m picking up my newest toy tomorrow and think I may have to have another 10mm in my life in that beautiful longslide 1911. Thanks!!!... I'm honestly a little ashamed of my Kodiak thoughts, due to their lustful nature. That being said, I don't have one. I do have 2 of the Bruin models though, and they're a wonderfully balanced, easy-to-shoot-well pistol. The additional rail weight of the Kodiak should only enhance the shooting experience of the 10mm, I think.
One of my Bruins, bought new, had a problem. The rear adjustable sight had been screwed down enough that the screw was impinging into the firing pin channel, and mucking things up. It turned out to be a good thing, though, as it was my first foray under the skirts of a 1911. They've both ran flawless since.
Have you shot much 10mm? The full-power Underwood rounds gave me a new appreciation for auto-handgun 'power'.
Although my most expensive handguns, they were worth every penny, IMO.

Sorry for your and your wife's family's loss.Good afternoon CZ friends. Been a little absent last week or so. My wife's Grandma went downhill pretty quick with her Dementia around Thanksgiving. She passed this morning. She's in Heaven now and not suffering anymore.
