My archaeology fascination struck again ! This time, I purchased a Neanderthal stone implement from the private collection of the owner of MiniMuseum.
It came from a cave system in France, where the pre-modern humans lived ... about 100,000 years ago.
I enjoyed taking a couple of photos of it this afternoon. When you hold it in your hand, you feel the past ! Come visit, and I'll show you !

Actually gonna be 53 today in Dull Moan.

But....Tomorrow for the lighted parade in my hometown of Oskaloosa it will be a high of 31 and a low of 24.

So -- I've got that and the grandkids to worry about.

The thing that gripes me is that when it was in Greenwood they notified me it would be delivered ‘tomorrow’. Then when it was in NJ I was told it is delayed. Then yesterday when it was in Zionsville I was told I will get it today. Now no estimated delivery date. Its nothing I need urgently (or at all right now, doing some prophylactic buying of wearables — recoil springs and such) but I think it shows they have logistics issues and that is their main job
