So. Who in here has bought something they don't really need?

Since y'all know what it likes to buy something you don't need. For some insomniac related reason, I bought this and a couple scope ring specific mounts this morning....you know when you get out of bed to get a CC #, you have issues.

Really can't support its better than a bubble level but maybe easier to see. I don't know. Impulse purchase. Laugh at me if you want, I can handle it.

That's cool as heck ! I don't need it either, but I want one now.

I am just disappointed that I had to buy it all on my own without you telling me I needed it.

I usually mount scopes low enough that the fancy levelers dont fit in the space.

At 1:15am today I ordered a portable hammock stand from a Kickstarter deal. I should have it for Xmas. I haven't set up a hammock in years.

I heard a lady on the radio yesterday talk it about how she quit eating all sugar.
I was stuffing a Reece’s cup in my mouth.

She went on to talk about seeing how high fructose corn syrup turns the cancer cells on high in your body.
I ate a mini Kit Kat.

    My conscience/conviction meter is wonky.
I know I need to quit sugar, but just can’t imagine doing it at all so never start.

Taper it off slowly. Or just say no... :dunno:

It can be done. I've gone with cutting most sugars out for the last couple of years. I still eat something sugary on occasion, but far, far less than I previously did.

    In the country, hopefully.
Sugar and Preservatives....killing us all slowly....

I need to seriously diet but I live with a drug dealer that specializes in carbs.

Of course, she just says, "Don't eat it". She also possess the willpower to do so. I do not...
Anybody that has that kind of will power is some kind of weirdo.
My wife is exactly the same.

I be like, oh no sorry forgot the donuts buuuurrrrppp.
    Pro-tip:

Put 13 donuts in the box.

Put two additional donuts in a bag.

Eat the two donuts on the ride home. Stuff empty bag under car seat for disposal at a gas station on another day.

Arrive home with a "full" box.

Eat "just" one donut at home and impress wife with your willpower.

This is how we win, gentleman.

    Good Morning / My PeepHoles.!!

Been off here for a bit - sorry for that.

Iowa has been in a weather pattern of snow cold .. wind and dry .. extremely nice weather in the high 60s .. then back to the high 20s at night.

normal Iowa weather (wait 10 minutes and it'll change)

I hope these days pre-Easter / Lent are good ones for us all.

May your days be filled with joy and excitement and awe.

    Miss y'all.

Heard that interview. Amazing story how Abduhl called her fat and she got motivated.
