He did do a great job pulling Indiana kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Had a chance to talk to Gov Pence the other day and do not expect him to let it slide!

Amen, you gotta give the man props for getting Indiana on the right track economically. If only his common sense would have extended to leaving Indiana time alone. What a PITA he left us with joining up with the rest of the morons who observe daylight saving time ... as if you can save daylight or time ... * sigh *.

He was one of our better (maybe best) Governours and the very reason we are doing so well during a time when all our neighbors are doing so poorly. Look at the mess Michigan is in...glad to be in Indiana.

The American Legislative Exchange Council ranking merely ranks states based on how effective ALEC has been in purchasing your politicians to do the bidding of the billionaire elite. Nothing more.

So, Indiana is projected to do better, but currently performing in the 38th position? I like Mitch, but how long before his policies bring the state to a better standing? Am I reading this wrong?

Mitch Daniels was a pretty darn good governor. I expect Mike Pence to the the same. For those of you who might think that leasing off the toll road was a mistake, you are wrong. That thing was a money pit from the day it opened. The Spanish/Australian consortium can keep it for the life of the lease. Indiana does not want or need it back. You should not spend money that you do not have and you should not tax the crap out of those that are still contributing to the economy. I wish that the present federal administration would follow Governor Daniels' example.
