I think this is the point. Supposedly this is a small cult of 50 people. Why did it ever hit the national media? Because the MSM saw the chance to make some goofy ass Christian group look like loons and then lump all Christians in with them (Mods, sorry for the overt religious comment but I think it is suitable here as part of this discussion). This should never have been noticed by the rest of the world.

Wasn't it back in '05 or something when that cartoonist in Denmark depicted muhamed with a mushroom cloud coming out of his head? I really don't see any difference here in expressing a freedom of speech. I think there were plots to attack not only him but (Mods: not getting into religious argument here) Christians all around the world...in the end there were some big protests and some boycotts of Danish goods, but I think rioting was limited to basically in some Middle Eastern cities.

That gonna really be detrimental to have them boycott American goods...wait a minute...we don't have any goods to boycott. We buy our stuff from China.

Who is "them"?...the rioters? a general mix of the population in the crowd? I can't recall...but it was primarily in Middle Eastern cities, where 90% of everyone has no job and nothing to do anyway. So when it started, the monkey mentality took over.
