should be alright, got a little S curve to them now lol. but I’m worried about the approaching storm laying them over againHope they rebound for ya
Odd we planted a bunch maybe 3/4 of an acre deer were no problem. Of course the LGD’s may have had something to do with it.Sunflowers take about 75 days to maturity so no, but they won't be ready for the start of dove hunting season. FYI, if you're doing a small plot and have many deer, they can easily wipe them out long before they reach maturity without protection.
Just got done with our storm. Not sure my garden is gonna reboundshould be alright, got a little S curve to them now lol. but I’m worried about the approaching storm laying them over again
They eat the tops right off them.Do deer like them at all?
We don’t hunt sunflowers….. we run security for them. Guarding against deer and doves. What caliber do you hunt them with?
Weeds were over 6’ tall in my pic you can barely see the sunflowers trying to poke out of themNo sunflower crop = no dove season at Winamac F&W area this year, nor is it listed on the Reserved Hunts for dove. The deer have had a feast on the sunflower crop. They may be looking at a different crop for dove fields next year.
